For Monster Oppertunity Roars, I modeled the detail pass of the monster itself.
This was for the close up of the hands and feet, each around 60 million polygons and covering 8 8k tiles. These were scuplpted in zbrush and included details such as fingerprints.
The reference for this style of creature was driven by orangutan and gorilla hands, but also takes elements from lizard and turtle skin.
