John Carter of Mars

Whilst working at Cinesite, i spent 9 months working on John Carter of Mars. My main role was working on the airships, designing and implimenting all the wings, it was painstaking work as each wing was a totally unique design, with 3 levels of detail and 2 uv sets, making it a very tedious and long task to lay out all the solar panels! The most fun was working on the individual flyer as a i had a little more hand in the folding mechanism, as, it flys like a dragonfly.

I also worked on the walking legs of the city of zodanga, making one of the many sets of legs that pull the entire city along. This was done largely in partnership with the rigger whole shelled out a basic mechanism for the modelling team to build upon.
