Lasher

The lasher symbiote was another fun build, when creating her, we had no idea how significant a role she would have in the film. Im particulary pleased with this character, as i was able to concept a lot of her weapons and power set early in the process (the final build went to another great artist Johanna Hawkridge) Once again the lasher build required us to reference the comics, and in particular we looked at a carnage infused lasher symbiote as the idea was to show a red veins running through the green skin tone to represent the classic colours of chistmas.

the above issue of lasher was a key ref, as it showed the red carnage symbiote inflused with the green body, this was a vital reference to our design process of having the red and green colour scheme.
